Time vs Alcohol Remaining by leah

With only 10 hours left of a cruise, we needed to consume 130 oz of liquor to avoid being penalized by customs upon re-entering the US.  Not an easy task, even for 4-6 young adults with already pickled livers from the days leading up.

Being the ever pragmatic dork that he is, my boyfriend decides we should monitor our progress by charting hourly the number of ounces remaining. "By doing so, we will have a clear picture of just what we were up against" .

As clearly depicted from the graph above,  consuming large amounts of liquor is much easier to start than finish. The general waterslide shape of the graph reflects both the passing out of participants in our endevour, as well as the lack of dedication.

Results: 10 ounces remaining by 3 am. Tracking was futile after that point.

What does it say above the drawn arrows? I'm sorry, it's a bit unclear.
