SO, I am not usually a fan of the complicated mix drinks- anything beyond a shot of something and a mixer like a juice or coke just seems like too much work. However, this recipe and the other I am entering are the exceptions.
The summer right after I graduated from Emory, I took one last road trip with all of my out of state buddies to Hilton Head. We went all out. We got an amazing hotel suite and brought plenty of liquor. We arrived at night and proceeded to get ripped on tequila shots- outcome: thrown out of the hot tub...it was awesome. The next day we hung out poolside. It was some of the best friend interaction we had- making fun of eachother and all. We were hitting on girls and doing quite well- it was perfect. Because of the heat, we needed to drink. We thought it'd be funny if there was a picture of all of us "tough guys" drinking these girly frozen drinks so we spent about $500 on 7 drinks- you know those resort mark-ups, they're a bitch. Anywho, we all became very aware that this was a one time pheonomenon, we liked the drinks, infact so much that we forgot to take the photo. Anyways, this drink is great and it stands for a great memory of getting plastered by the pool.
Here's to everybody's summer memories! CHEERS!
1/2 oz white creme de menthe
1/2 oz kahlua
1/2 oz creme de cacau
1/2 oz bailey's irish creme
1 1/2 oz milk
2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
And! As many Andes mints as you want- I'd start with four though....
