Brookgreen Gardens by Erin

My family used to take annual summer vacations to Myrtle Beach, SC.  One summer, we took a trip to Brookgreen Gardens, located between Myrtle Beach and Pawley's Island.  The gardens were absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful landscaping and amazing sculptures at every turn.

I wandered off and decided to try my hand at amateur photography.  This shot was taken in an area of the gardens that no one else seemed to notice while we were there.  I didn't realize until I got my film developed that the overhead beams cast shadows directly below, making for a cool shot.  I keep this picture framed in my living room.  For some reason, it's always intrigued me.

That's crazy that you didn't realize the shadows were there when taking this picture - this is beautiful!

The shadows really make this picture.

I already rated this, but I can't tell you what an awesome shot this is for architecture as a subject.

That is an architecture shot if I ever saw one. Your really captured the intent of the architect (at least as far as I'm concerned). WOW!
