Took this picture on a blustery mid-fall day in Northern Georgia off the Appilacian Trail.  There was a light drizzle, and in 2 hours I didn't hear or see another living soul.  Just the trail, coated with shades of orange, red, and yellow. 

This leaf was one of the diehard few...still trying to refuse the inevitable.

A task always worthy of incalcuable respect.
