This is a simple recipe perfect for halloween. You can create your own combinations but I love this sweet and spicy treat.
Ingredients:
Seeds from your carved pumpkin3 tablespoons of butter or margerine
1/2 brown sugar
2 teaspoons cheyenne pepper
salt if desired
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- Wash seeds in cold water and remove any pumpkin pulp, dry throughly
- Melt butter and stir in brown sugar, cheyenne pepper, and salt
- Pour mixture over the seeds and spread onto a cookie sheet in 1 layer
- Bake for 25 minute, stirring after 10 minutes
- Cool and enjoy your halloween snack
