What defines me is what I've been through, and how I came out on top. The person I am has been sitting in the passenger's seat, patiently waiting for a turn at the wheel. Like Eve White, sometimes she gets her chance.
I'm a risk taker, challenge maker, never give up, hit the ground running. I am a paradox of self-centeredness and empathy for others. I put others first only if they haven't messed with me. I love myself and deserve the best.
A stranger is just a friend I haven't met yet. There's nothing wrong with talking to the other people in the elevator. There's nothing wrong with making your waiter laugh, even if he isn't cute. There's nothing wrong with being the only heterosexual in a gay bar. There's nothing wrong with dancing in the rain, singing in public, yelling to hear your echo, or laughing too loudly.
Live like it was your last day on earth. Why not? What have you got to lose? What's it gonna hurt?

More window - Jul-15-07 13:34 EDT
Well, Brian, the whole window took four hours, spread out over two weekends. This is actually one of those paint-on kits. The previous picture is only one third of it.
It helps to have a window that comes completely out to lay on the table. This one happens to be a storm window. (Clever, huh?)
The design gets taped in place underneath. Then, draw the outlines with the black "leading" and let dry. Next, fill in colors. Put a few drops of paint in the middle the little section, and use a toothpick to spread it into tight corners. Pop any bubbles that come up.
You can mix colors to make more of a stained glass effect. Drop the different colors next to eachother, and drag the toothpick through it in straight lines. Or swirlies. Whatever you want.

Painting - Jul-15-07 12:06 EDT
This is a watercolor painting of the pink house with green stairs from my book. It is based off of a real building that I saw from my window when I worked in One Sarasota Tower. I used Niji paints, watercolor pencils, drafting indellible ink, Strathmore paper 140 lb cold press, and pure sable brushes.( Show Comments |

Stained Glass - Jul-11-07 14:25 EDT
My first and only stained glass project. It was the painting kit kind, but I liked it.( Show Comments |

I'm painting large unidentifiable flowers on one of my bedroom walls! I bet you'd like it. It's actually an homage to my mom who painted a tree on our kitchen wall way back in the 50's.robinelee - Jul-22-07 12:14 EDT
