naa uum karuk araara. I am a Karuk Indian. I am married and have two sons, Machnatach and Ihaan. I teach the Karuk language on the Hoopa Valley Indian Reservation, and I train in the Martial Arts. 

I love taking pictures of my family, my land, and my daily life. Pictures help in the fight against time. However without the emotional and mental content, a picture is nothing more than an image.  The real depth lies in the associations that a great picture can make.
